Renowned Gangaram Radiologist, Dr TBS Buxi to appointed faculty at University of Rochester
New Delhi: Dr TBS Buxi, renowned radiologist and Chairman Department of CT & MRI, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has been appointed Adjunct Professor of Imaging Sciences in the School of Medicine and Dentistry at University of Rochester, New York, USA.
As per the release issued by the hospital in this regard, it will be for the first time that an Indian doctor from the field of Radiology will be imparting education and training to the students of University of Rochester, New York.
An MD passout from Government Medical College, Patiala Dr Buxi has been associated with GRIPMER (the Ganga Ram Institute For Postgraduate Medical Education & Research) as a teaching faculty and has been involved in teaching and research in the field of radiology for the last 35 years. Besides being a teacher Dr. Buxi has also published numerous papers in National and International journals.
He has delivered lectures on various aspects of CT & MRI in almost all the leading medical institutions and CME programmes in India and aroad since 1983. He is also Editor of Imaging Today, a quarterly publication on CT & MRI.
Dr Buxi was recently bestowed with NBE’s “Distinguished Teacher Award” 2018, by the Vice President of India.

His vast experience and achievements in the field of Radiology perhaps prompted for the last line that an US University selected an Indian Radiologist to teach US students under this preview. Dr. Buxi will teach US students visiting Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and also visit Rochester University, New York.
